Lambeth College recently welcomed prospective students to its Experience Day, giving applicants the opportunity to explore campus life, meet tutors and take part in exciting taster sessions across a wide range of subject areas.

Designed to help students prepare for their next step in education, the event offered a valuable insight into what studying at Lambeth College is really like. Throughout the day, attendees experienced hands on activities, explored specialist facilities and gained a better understanding of the courses available to them.

Students had the chance to participate in taster sessions across a variety of curriculum areas, including Art and Design, Sport, Counselling and ESOL, alongside many other subjects. These sessions allowed learners to experience different teaching styles, develop new skills and discover where their interests and ambitions could take them.

The Art and Design sessions encouraged creativity and self expression, while Sport activities gave students a chance to experience practical learning in a dynamic environment. Those interested in Counselling explored key concepts and career pathways within the sector, while ESOL learners were welcomed into engaging sessions designed to support language development and confidence building.

Beyond the classroom, students were able to meet teaching staff, ask questions about their chosen courses and connect with fellow applicants who will be starting their college journey in the coming academic year.

Experience Days play an important role in helping students feel confident about their next steps. By taking part in practical activities and exploring the College environment, learners gain a clearer picture of what to expect when they begin their studies.

The event showcased the diverse opportunities available at Lambeth College and highlighted the supportive learning environment that helps students achieve their goals, develop their talents and prepare for future careers or higher education.
