Strong partnerships between education providers, employers and community organisations are helping learners take meaningful steps towards employment.
Recently, South Bank Colleges welcomed employer partners and industry representatives to support learners who had completed CSCS construction training, helping them explore job opportunities and connect with employers actively recruiting across London.

The event brought together Employment 4 ALL CIC, Strive Development Ltd and South Bank Colleges, creating valuable opportunities for learners to engage directly with employers and learn more about available roles within the construction sector.
Learners were able to discuss employment opportunities across the City of London, Southwark and Lambeth, gaining insight into the skills, experience and qualities employers are looking for. These conversations helped learners better understand the pathways available to them as they move from training into work.
Alongside construction opportunities, learners also explored careers in event crewing through The Gallowglass Group. Roles within live events, television and film, venues, festivals, sporting events and corporate functions offered an alternative route into employment for those looking to gain experience in a fast paced and dynamic industry.

Events such as this demonstrate the importance of collaboration between colleges, employers and community organisations. By bringing together training, recruitment and industry expertise, learners are given access to opportunities that can help them build confidence and progress towards sustainable employment.
Through partnerships like these, South Bank Colleges remains committed to connecting learners with industry and supporting successful progression into employment.
