National Apprenticeship Week 2026 is in full swing and Day 2 has brought fantastic energy to our Clapham campus. Today, Bavan, our Apprenticeship Sales Manager, is hosting a dedicated apprenticeship pop up session in collaboration with Grandir UK, creating an engaging space for students to explore their next steps.

Connecting Students with Real Opportunities

The pop up session is designed to give learners direct access to information, advice and inspiration. By bringing apprenticeship conversations into the heart of the campus, students can easily discover how they can earn, learn and progress in their chosen career path.

Bavan has been speaking with students about the wide range of programmes available through LSBU Group Apprenticeships. From early years and education to business and professional services, the pathways on offer are built to support both ambition and employability.

Partnering with Industry

Working alongside Grandir UK highlights the strength of employer partnerships within the LSBU Group. As a leading childcare provider, Grandir UK offers valuable apprenticeship routes in early years education, giving students clear insight into what a career in the sector can look like.

Having employers present at these sessions makes a real difference. Students can ask questions directly, understand workplace expectations and see how their studies connect with real world roles.

Supporting Ambition at South Bank Colleges

At South Bank Colleges, apprenticeship opportunities form a key part of our commitment to career focused education. Events like today’s pop up session during NAW2026 showcase the practical routes available and reinforce the message that there is more than one pathway to success.

The conversations taking place at Clapham campus today are about more than applications. They are about confidence, clarity and helping each learner see what is possible.

We look forward to continuing the momentum throughout the week and supporting even more students in taking their next steps with LSBU Group Apprenticeships.
