As part of T Levels Week, South Bank Colleges proudly hosted an engaging T Levels Parent and Employer Information Evening during the recent Open Event. The evening brought together students, parents, employers, and staff for an inspiring look into how T Levels are shaping the future of technical education.
The event shone a spotlight on the power of T Levels, the qualifications that are transforming the way young people prepare for their careers. Designed in partnership with employers, T Levels combine classroom learning with real industry experience, giving students the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive in sectors such as digital, healthcare, and construction.
Among the highlights of the evening was the participation of Digital T Level students and course ambassadors, who showcased their passion and professionalism throughout the event. Their enthusiasm and insight offered a first-hand look at what makes the T Level journey so rewarding.
One of the evening’s standout speakers was Taiwo, a T Level Ambassador, who shared their personal experience of growth, learning, and achievement on the programme. Reflecting on the event, Taiwo said:
“T Levels are not just another qualification, they are a game changer. Built with input from real employers, they combine hands-on experience with classroom learning, so students get the best of both worlds. I had amazing conversations with students and their parents exploring T Levels for the first time, as well as with those already on the journey. The curiosity and excitement about what’s possible made the evening truly special.”
The event created a valuable space for conversation and connection, giving families and employers the chance to learn more about how T Levels open doors to exciting future opportunities.
A big thank you to Donna, Breveena, and everyone at South Bank Colleges who made the event possible, as well as to Kehinde, Muhammad, and Amadu for their contributions to an inspiring evening.
