This October, the nursery community came together to celebrate Black History Month with a joyful and memorable event that brought together children, parents and college staff. It was a truly special day filled with laughter, community spirit and plenty of fun activities for everyone to enjoy.

The celebration was a wonderful opportunity to honour Black culture, heritage and achievements while creating meaningful connections across the nursery community. The atmosphere was full of excitement as families joined in with games, music and delicious food that everyone shared and enjoyed.

Pops joined the event, bringing brilliant energy and engaging both children and adults alike. One of the highlights of the day was the visit from the special guest, Craig, the LSBTC principal. Craig joined in the celebrations, taking part in the games and even showing off his skills at the dominoes table — and to everyone’s delight, he won!
